Description
Seals haul out onto ice bergs or on land to have a rest. This leopard wasn't bothered by us snapping away with the cameras.
Like their feline namesakes, leopard seals are fierce predators. They are the most formidable hunters of all the seals and the only ones that feed on warm-blooded prey, such as other seals and penguins.

Thanks so much Kay! We were in a zodiac on our way back to the ship when we found him resting on an iceberg, so we were at or below eye level with him.
